President
My name is Laura Barragán, and I am a ninth grade student. I’ve been participating in various MUN conferences since I was in fifth grade, so it has become a project I am extremely passionate about and always make sure that I give my best to. I’ve had the opportunity to be president of various committees twice, and I also had the honor to attend Yale’s MUN conference. For me, model United Nations is a huge part of me since it has allowed me to discover my interests, new people and to know more about the world we live in. I hope all of you can take this model as a way to have fun, learn more about our world and gain new memories.
Vicepresident
My name is Sara Tautiva and currently I’m in 9th grade at GCB. Four years ago I had the amazing opportunity to start participating in UN models, in national and international levels as YaleMUN. Being part of these models has allowed me to extend my knowledge, have new experiences, find my passions and even challenge some fears. Moreover, participating as a delegate over the last years has taught me plenty of skills and over all has made me extremely happy. Now, I’m pleased to be part of this version of the GCBMUN as a chair, and excited to learn new things and have a great time with the delegates in our committee.
